Job Summary
1 To carry out the tasks of the procurement training following the schedule elaborated by the Training Coordinator/Project Manager/PPU both at central & provincial levels.
2 To design and prepare training materials for training courses as instructed by the Training Coordinator/ Project Manager.
3 To study and analyze the available pedagogical documents.
4 To participate in client’s interviews of the ministries and provinces at all relevant administrative levels.
5 To participate in training seminars organized for the national procurement trainers by PCBC/ PPU.
6 Be totally informed of the training needs collected by the PPU/ Project and assist in conducting of training needs assessment (TNA).
7 To participate in designing training plans and programs with the training coordinator/ Project Manager/PPU on the subjects he/she is involved.
8 To train the civil servants/others in public procurement following the rules and procedures as indicated by the project manager/ Training coordinator/ PPU.
9 To assist in designing and implementation of the performance evaluation system which will put in place and that will allow the project to demonstrate results.
10 To assist in designing and implementation of procurement certification of credentials for procurement officers.
Required Qualification:
* Bachelor degree is preffered.
* 3 Years of experience in public procurement.
* experience in training delivery will be preffered.
Languages Required:
Good Command (Reading, Writing & Speaking) of Dari, Pashto & English.
* Professional Skills:
* Excellent Presentation Skills.
* Training and Communication Skills.
* Excellent knowledge of Afghanistan Public Procurement Law and its Rules of Procedure.
* Certificate course in Afghanistan Public Procurement Law is preferred.
* Practical experience of using Standard Bidding Documents (SBDs).
* Good computer skills (be able to prepare power point presentations).
